About Laine Atelier
Hi! I'm Arlaine Santos, a Brazilian artist, architect, wife, and mom to a sweet little boy who inspires me every single day with his joy and curiosity.
I graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from PUC Minas in 2013, and for many years I worked in the field, creating spaces that told stories. But it was in watercolor that I found a more intimate and poetic way to express what lives inside me — a slower, more delicate rhythm that connected deeply with my essence.
In 2020, I moved to Malmö, Sweden, and embraced a new life chapter — one filled with motherhood, self-discovery, and creativity. Surrounded by Scandinavian simplicity and the magic of daily life with a child, I naturally returned to paper and brushes. What began as a personal escape became a passion, and eventually, Laine Atelier was born.
Laine Atelier is more than just a brand — it's a reflection of my heart. It’s where architecture meets art, where precision meets emotion, and where stories are told through soft lines, subtle colors, and a touch of whimsy. Here, I create watercolor illustrations inspired by nature, childhood wonder, and the beauty found in simple things.
I specialize in custom pieces like menus, wedding invitations, and special occasion stationery, but I also love creating prints that bring warmth, softness, and imagination to everyday spaces.
Thank you for being here and for supporting my creative journey. I hope my art brings you a little light, calm, and joy — just like it does for me. ✨

Artistry in Every Detail
Inspired by Nature's Beauty
I find my deepest inspiration in nature — in the quiet, enchanted corners of the world that often go unnoticed. Forests, with their layers of mystery and soft green light, are like living stories to me. I’m especially drawn to the little things: the curve of a mushroom growing beneath fallen leaves, the delicate flutter of a bird’s wings, the way a wildflower leans gently toward the sun.
There’s a kind of magic in these details — a stillness that speaks, a softness that comforts. When I paint, I try to carry that same feeling into the paper. My watercolors are often filled with earthy tones, organic shapes, and elements that feel like they’ve been plucked from a daydream in the woods.
I believe that art doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful. Sometimes, it’s in the smallest moments — a petal, a feather, a hidden mushroom — that we find the most wonder. Through my work, I hope to invite others into this gentle world I see and feel. A world where time slows down, and beauty lives quietly in the details.
